Tesco Case Study
Red Tail has been working with Tesco since our foundation. Originally providing store planning services covering all formats from the smallest convenience stores through to the most complex two floor trading schemes to 120,000 sq ft of net sales area.
In 2006 Tesco migrated there UK based CAD resource to their offices in India Founding Director of Red Tail Paul Tipping played a vital role in supporting the transition by providing CAD training based in India over a 3 month period to support each of Tesco’s planning departments in the development of the Indian based CAD resource
Red Tail Design have been successful in securing ongoing survey contracts for Tesco for the past three consecutive years - the only company working for Tesco store planning to do so.
We have carried out full store surveys on 350 stores since our formation in 2009 and have played a major role in the latest Tesco market strategy aimed at refreshing a large portion of the Tesco estate with the objective of clawing back market share following the release of poor sales figures over the Christmas period.
